Nuclear Project Manager

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Leads and delivers projects that are >$100K, have technical/specification/operational risks. Plays a critical part in the full project lifecycle -- from participation in tendering activity, including proposals, through to project closure/cash collection. Manages project complexity involving numerous internal and external stakeholders, a degree of technical complexity, occasional multi-site coordination, global and virtual team working, and high levels of functional integration. Ownership of each assigned project, responsible for resolving project problems promptly, and maintaining project quality and adherence to schedule and budget.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to lead a large-scale project team. Ability to report to the executive management team with relevant presentations and project updates. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work cross-functionally. Ability to manage projects through influence diplomatically. Customer-facing experience as well. Experience in working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to manage a larger volume of projects/orders simultaneously. Proven experience of using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP/SAP) and project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project).Proficient in MS Office, MS Project & SharePoint. Experience working with an international customer base.

Education and Experience: 5 years experience in the nuclear sector. Past supervisory experience (preferred).Experience in the Industrial or Power & Energy markets. Experience working in a nuclear Quality Program and familiarity with nuclear material supply codes and standards, such as ASME NQA-1, ASME Sec. III Code, 10CFR50 Appendix B and 10CFR Part 21 (preferred).Experience in dealing with complex customer specifications and documentation requirements. Professional background in manufacturing, with a technical aptitude in engineering.

Pay Range: The base pay range for this position is $110,000 – 120,000 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
