Electrical Commissioning Lead

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Lead / Electrical Commissioning Engineerto support a large-scale project in Reno, NV. The ideal candidate will have strong experience withMV/LV electrical systems, power distribution, switchgear, transformers, generators, ATS, NETA testing, and electrical energization .Key Skills switchgear, transformers, generators, Datacenter, mission-critical, MV/LV, Medium Voltage, Low Voltage

Key Responsibilities: LeadL1-L2 pre-functional electrical verificationand commissioning activities. Verify installation, QA/QC documentation, torque testing, insulation resistance testing, and NETA test results. Support commissioning ofMV/LV switchgear, transformers, MCC/MDB, ATS, generators, load centers, and panelboards .Verify protective device settings and electrical equipment readiness before energization. LeadL3 electrical energization, including phasing, voltage verification, protective settings, and approved energization sequences. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, QA/QC, controls, mechanical, and commissioning teams. Track and resolve commissioning issues usingCX Alloy .SupportL4-L5 functional testing, troubleshooting, and final commissioning .Provide field leadership and technical support throughout the commissioning process.

Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience inelectrical commissioning, electrical construction, or power systems .Strong MV/LV electrical distribution experience. Experience withswitchgear, transformers, generators, ATS, MCC/MDB, and protective devices .Experience withNETA testing and electrical energization .Ability to read electrical drawings and single-line diagrams. Strong field coordination and troubleshooting skills. Data center / mission-critical commissioning experience preferred. Willingness to work a10/4 schedule in Reno, NV .
