Operations Coordinator

Overview In this role you lead daily inspection operations for bulk liquid cargo inspection and sampling in the oil, gas and chemical sector. You coordinate field staff, liaise with labs and clients, and ensure safety, accuracy and compliance while managing data and client instructions. You act as on‑duty branch manager during after-hours and contribute to operational excellence and client satisfaction. This opportunity lets you influence field operations at scale within a global testing and certification leader. Responsibilities Guide and provide feedback to the inspection staff daily Liaise with laboratory and clients Manage operating files and key data in customer databases Coordinate with customers, refineries, and shipping agencies for critical marine vessel logistics Schedule field staff and approve inspector time logs Maintain calibration records for the branch Ensure compliance with Safety, Field Operations and Reporting procedures Understand and follow client instructions and requirements Conduct regular client visits and coordinate with sales for visits Direct field work including audits and mentoring of field employees Perform duties as branch manager on duty during specified hours Other duties as assigned by Management Key requirements High School Diploma or GED (Required)Three (3) years of industry related coordination experience (Required)Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field (Preferred)Five (5) years of industry related coordination experience (Preferred)High level of accuracy and attention to detail (Required)Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills (verbal and written) (Required)Dependable, self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision (Required)Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks (Required)Excellent customer service and decision-making skills (Required)Ability to lead and foster collaboration in a team (Required)Strong organization and time management under pressure (Required)Ability to analyze and compile technical and financial information into reports (Required)Independent planning and project execution (Required)Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) (Required)interpersonal skillscommunicationleadershipdata management in customer databasestechnical knowledge of oil, gas and chemical industryfield audits and procedures
