Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities: Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. Analyze financial statements and investigate budget-to-actual variances. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Review AP, AR, and cash transactions for accuracy and compliance. Coordinate and support internal and external audit requests. Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls. Mentor and provide guidance to Staff Accountants and other accounting team members. Assist management with ad hoc reporting and special projects.

Requirements: Public accounting experience is a plus. CPA certification or CPA eligibility preferred. Experience supporting audits, budgeting, and financial statement preparation. Experience leading projects or mentoring junior staff.
