FPC of Greensboro has partnered with MAIA Pharmaceuticals in its search for a Director of Analytical Development. MAIA is a specialty pharmaceutical company with a team of 90+ R&D professionals tackling complex formulation and drug delivery challenges to improve patient adherence, enhance safety, and create better options for patients, clinicians, and healthcare systems. The Director of Analytical Development will be a hands-on scientific leader responsible for driving analytical development activities for injectable drug products, including complex and long-acting formulations. This individual will own the analytical strategy for assigned programs, from drug substance and drug product characterization through method development, stability, validation, technical transfer, regulatory submission, and technical support during FDA review. A Ph. D. in Analytical Chemistry or a related discipline is preferred, as is experience in peptide development, including peptide chemistry and synthesis. This is a newly created position and an excellent opportunity to have a significant impact on a growing organization. Excellent salary, bonus opportunity, and benefits are available.
