Pediatric Oncology Treatment PlansThis position will have a primary focus on pediatric oncology treatment plans. Experience with pediatric oncology is highly preferred. Responsible for the development, configuration, implementation, and on-going support of the Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and other supporting IT systems for Penn State Health systems. This role involves working closely with clinical, operational, financial services, and administrative staff to optimize the use of the Epic system, ensuring it meets the needs of the healthcare organization and supports the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required. Two (2) years ASHP-accredited pharmacy residency training including PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency and a PGY-2 specialty residency in pharmacy informatics; OR one (1) year of ASHP-accredited pharmacy residency training including (PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency) plus three (3) years of relevant pharmacy practice experience; or six (6) years of relevant pharmacy practice experience. Pennsylvania registration in Pharmacy or eligibility required.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of oncology care and treatment workflows preferred. Previous experience in Pharmacy Informatics preferred. Experience with build and maintenance of EMR Oncology treatment plans and chemotherapy regimens preferred. Epic certification preferred. If not certified, must complete Epic certification as assigned in related application within 6 weeks after last training class.
