About the role

To support a growing educational community, the part-time Philosophy Adjunct Faculty will teach up to 3 courses per term in a remote environment, focusing on providing high-quality instruction and fostering a student-centered learning atmosphere for adult learners.
Key responsibilities: Deliver synchronous or asynchronous seminars and maintain virtual office hours for student support Engage students in discussions, manage electronic correspondence, and ensure timely submission of grades Participate in professional development and faculty governance while adhering to university policies
Required qualifications: Master's degree specifically in Philosophy (M.A., M.Phil., etc.) is required 1-3 years of related practical or professional experience, preferably in online higher education teaching Exceptional computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google applications Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with minimal supervision Dedication to student success and the ability to engage and inspire students in the classroom
