Mid Level AWS DevOps Engineer
Experience: 3–6 Years | Job Type: Full-Time | Location: Remote
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level AWS DevOps Engineer to join our technology team and support the design, automation, deployment, and optimization of cloud infrastructure and application environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, containers, monitoring, and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and highly available infrastructure on AWS.Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application build, testing, and deployment.
  • Manage AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch, Lambda, and EKS.Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Automate infrastructure, deployment, and operational processes using Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and resource utilization using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • Implement cloud security, access controls, backup strategies, and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and application-related issues.
  • Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with development and engineering teams to improve application reliability and deployment processes.
  • Maintain technical documentation for infrastructure, deployments, and operational procedures.
  • Required Qualifications3–6 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS Code
  • Pipeline, or similar tools.
  • Practical experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux administration and networking fundamentals.
  • Experience with Git and version control workflows.
  • Proficiency in scripting with Bash, Python, or similar languages.
  • Experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or SysOps Administrator certification. Experience with AWS EKS, ECS, Lambda, RDS, and serverless architectures. Knowledge of Ansible or other configuration-management tools. Experience implementing DevSecOps practices and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar observability platforms. Understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, and cloud cost-optimization strategies. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
