About the role

Job Overview: A law firm seeks a mid to senior level transactional associate to join its Corporate & Securities Practice Group in Charleston, SC. The associate will work with a multi-office team representing public company clients across various industries, focusing on complex securities, corporate governance, capital markets, and regulatory matters.
Duties: Represent large Nasdaq and NYSE-listed public company clients. Handle complex securities law, disclosure, governance, and transactional matters. Collaborate with a dynamic team across multiple offices.
Requirements: Minimum of four years of corporate & securities experience at a large regional or national law firm. Experience with Securities Act of 1933 and Securities Exchange Act of 1934 matters. Prior service with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is a plus. Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction or eligible to become licensed. EducationExcellent academic credentials required.
Certifications: Licensed to practice law. SkillsStrong analytical abilities. Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
