Diesel Mechanic

Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks. Utilize automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to accurately diagnose mechanical issues. Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems as necessary. Disassemble and reassemble engines and equipment for thorough inspection and repair. Safely and effectively use hand tools, power tools, and forklifts during repair work. Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure they meet safety regulations. Keep detailed records of repairs, services performed, and parts used. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues.

Skills & Qualifications: Proficiency in diesel engine maintenance techniques. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics tools and processes. Ability to perform heavy lifting required for repairs. Experience with farm machinery is a plus. Familiarity with the safe use of hand tools, power tools, and forklifts. Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in assembly tasks. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team.
