Maintenance Mechanic

Job Duties & Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial manufacturing equipment, including metal-forming presses, motors, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems. - Perform preventative maintenance and replace or repair defective mechanical components to maintain reliable equipment operation. - Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns, prioritize repairs, and assist with general facility maintenance and equipment installations. - Maintain maintenance records and follow established safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO).

Required Skills & Experience: Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience. - Hands-on mechanical troubleshooting experience with industrial equipment. - Intermediate electrical troubleshooting experience, including high-voltage systems. - Ability to safely use hand and power tools, lift at least 50 lbs., and work at heights.

Preferred Skills & Experience: Experience working with stainless steel in a manufacturing environment. - Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and metal-forming equipment. Compensation & Schedule - $30-$35 per hour. - Monday-Friday, day shift. - Approximately 45-50 hours per week. - Overtime and occasional Saturdays as needed. - Location: Mountainside, NJ.
