Special Education Strat II:ID Teacher The Newton Community School District is accepting applications for a Special Education Strat II:ID Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
Location: Berg Middle School
Position: Middle School Special Education - Strat II-ID Teacher
Start Date: August 2026
Benefits: Single Benefits provided at no cost to the employee (Health, Dental, Life Insurance) This position will remain open until filled. Candidates must hold or be in the process of obtaining a current Iowa Teaching License in the following endorsements areas:
  • A Strat II-ID Endorsement is preferred. (264)
  • The District will consider candidates that currently have a Strat I and will provide tuition assistance for graduate credits towards a Strat II:ID endorsement.
