Resident Shuttle Driver – Senior Living Community

In this resident-first role, you will operate community vehicles, assist residents with boarding and mobility devices, and ensure timely trips to appointments, events, and errands. You’ll perform safety checks, maintain clean vehicles, and provide courteous, professional service. Safely operate community vehicles to transport residents, guests, and supplies Assist residents with boarding, seating, and mobility devices in a courteous, safe manner Follow scheduled routes and maintain timely transport to appointments, outings, and events Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle safety inspections and report issues promptly Keep vehicles clean, fueled, and presentable at all times Comply with all traffic laws, safety protocols, and community policies Maintain accurate trip logs and incident reports Communicate effectively with concierge, nursing, and operations staff regarding transport needs Safe driving and navigation Passenger transport and assistance Vehicle safety inspections Basic vehicle maintenance checks Defensive driving Customer service Schedule and route management Incident and trip reporting Compliance with traffic and safety regulations Communication with dispatch and staff Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record CPR/First Aid certification preferred Passenger assistance training (PASS) preferred Defensive driving training Experience operating passenger vans or shuttle vehicles
