Engineer - REMOTE (Local NYC Preferred)

Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Microvellum Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for creating accurate shop drawings, CNC-ready production files, & material documentation for custom millwork & casework projects. The optimal candidate MUST have 5+ year's experience with Microvellum, AutoCAD, and custom millwork construction methods, with the ability to coordinate closely with project managers, engineering, production, and installation teams in a fast-paced environment. This role can be fully remote for the right candidates.

Responsibilities: Develop detailed shop drawings and production drawings using Microvellum and AutoCAD Revise drawings based on client comments, field conditions, and engineering reviews Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines Support continuous improvement of drafting standards and library components Assist with troubleshooting production or installation issues when required Review project requirements, hardware selections, and construction details Create CNC-ready files, cut lists, and material reports for manufacturing Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and field dimensions Maintain organized project files, schedules, and revision tracking
