Secondary Operator/ Inspector - 2nd Shift Production Inspector – 2nd Shift Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Cherryville, NC Pay: $15.75 per hour Schedule: Monday – Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM Some Saturdays May Be Required
Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Production Inspectors to join a manufacturing facility in Cherryville, NC. The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. This position involves inspecting steel and metal products to ensure they meet quality and production standards. Candidates must be comfortable standing and walking for an entire 8-hour shift and working in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect finished and in-process products for quality and defects
- Verify products meet company specifications and quality standards
- Identify and report damaged, defective, or non-conforming materials
- Perform visual inspections and basic measurements as required
- Follow production and quality-control procedures
- Maintain accurate inspection and production records
- Communicate quality concerns to supervisors and production team members
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Required Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing experience required
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PMMust be available to work some Saturdays
- Must be able to wear steel-toe safety shoes
- Must be able to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift
- Must be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to identify quality issues and defects
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
