Shot Blast I

What You'll Do: In Shot Blast, you will assist painters with the preparation process by ensuring that rust, contaminants, & etc. is removed from the metal surface to promote proper adhesion and quality.

What We're Looking For: We're looking for an enthusiastic learner with strong safety habits, basic mechanical aptitude, and an interest in metal fabrication.

Position requirements: High School Diploma or GEDAbility to pass a background check, drug test, and physical Experience in metal prep, painting, grinding, or manufacturing preferred but not required.

Skills & Competencies: Ability to follow safety rules and properly use PPE and material-handling equipment. Ability to read and follow work instructions and basic drawings. Basic mechanical aptitude; willingness to learn new tools and processes. Ability to operate or learn grinders, sanders, hand tools, painting equipment, power tools, forklifts, hoists, and cranes.
