Machine Operators

RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate and maintain production machines in a paper converting line. (Rewinders, unwinders, wrappers, palletizers, case packers, etc.)Ability to adhere to Safety Policy and Procedures a must! Complete work orders and requests in a timely fashion. Load raw materials (Parent Reels, Poly Rolls, Core Materials) by using overhead crane, pallet jack, etc. Monitor equipment, perform resets, replenish and troubleshoot assigned area of the line as needed. Determine and report downtime, pallet counts, machine speeds, etc. Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned areas. Monitor line for defective materials and perform quality checks. May operate automated packaging equipment.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: 3 to 5 years of machine operation experience required. Manufacturing experience preferred.

Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and ability to work independently or with a team! Physical: Must be able to work 12 hour shifts standing, bending, stooping and lift up to 25 lbs. Excellent attendance record (the schedule is the 2-2-3 schedule)Strong attention to detail.
