Job Description: The Colorado State University Department of Athletics sponsors 16 men’s and women’s intercollegiate sports and competes as a member of the NCAA Division I-FBS and the Mountain West Conference. The University is located in Fort Collins, Colorado, 65 miles north of Denver. Individual’s primary duty involves the performance of work requiring imagination, originality and talent in creation of artistic video content that enhances and extends the Colorado State Athletics brand; individual also collaborates with multiple internal and external constituent groups to identify and capture stories; institutes best practices; assists with development of unit workflows to produce ample and timely content; is actively involved in the game-day atmosphere; and cultivates fan engagement and affinity through effective story telling. Required Job Qualifications* Bachelor’s degree* Experience employing and/or operating various cameras, lighting, audio and other video production equipment required* Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in video production or creative video content (intern, GA and professional experience applicable)* Demonstrated understanding of and competency with visual composition and storytelling* Ability to adapt to the ever-changing video production industry* Ability to work on projects individually as well as within a team* Excellent attention to detail as well as strong organizational, communication, and planning skills* Must have a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain a driver’s license by the employment start date.
