Product Designer III, AWS Marketplace and Partner Services (AMPS)

About the Role: Senior Product Designer for AWS Marketplace and Partner Services (AMPS) owning end-to-end design across web and AI-powered conversational surfaces. Lead design strategy, prototype with AI-assisted tools and vibe coding, and collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to shape procurement and partner workflows.

Job Description: RoleAWS Marketplace and Partner Services (AMPS) is hiring a Senior Product Designer to own end-to-end design for key AMPS experiences across traditional web consoles and emerging chat/agentic AI interfaces. You will set design strategy, deliver solutions from concept through launch, and influence product direction for buyer and partner workflows in a large-scale B2B marketplace.

Key Responsibilities: Design complex buyer and partner journeys across procurement, licensing, deployment, and operations, selecting the right modality (console, chat, agent, or hybrid) based on context and task complexity. Own end-to-end design for significant product areas spanning graphical interfaces and AI-powered conversational experiences. Lead design strategy and deliver solutions from concept through launch, leveraging AI-assisted prototyping and vibe coding to iterate quickly. Design chat-based and agentic AI experiences, including dialogue flows, escalation patterns, transparency mechanisms, and failure states. Produce functional prototypes to validate assumptions and influence roadmaps with product and business leaders. Define interaction patterns, design standards, and reusable frameworks to ensure consistency across graphical and conversational surfaces. Drive cross-functional alignment through design reviews, live demos, and presentations to senior leadership. Evaluate AI-generated design and code output for accessibility, design system compliance, and interaction coherence. Mentor and coach designers, including AI-augmented workflows and conversational design patterns. Partner with engineering to preserve design intent during implementation of front-end and LLM-powered features.

Requirements: Basic Qualifications 7+ years of design experience delivering solutions for large-scope, complex projects. Demonstrated experience designing complex workflows and working with stakeholders to plan and execute strategic programs. Experience acquiring user data (usability studies, user research) and creating personas and journey maps.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience designing for B2B, marketplace, e-commerce, or enterprise software. Experience with AI-powered, conversational, or agentic experiences and patterns for transparency, trust, and user control. Familiarity with AI-assisted design and prototyping tools for rapid concept-to-testable artifact workflows. Experience influencing product direction and presenting to senior leadership. Knowledge of cloud services, SaaS platforms, or software procurement workflows. Bachelor’s degree or above in Design, HCI, or related field.
