About the role

Base salary: Approximately $75,000-$80,000 annually

Elite Staffing Solutions is looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to lead our daily staffing operation, develop our team, and improve the processes that keep our customers and employees moving forward. We’ve grown from the ground up into an $8.1 million staffing business. Our next stage requires a leader who can take ownership of customer delivery, hold people accountable, and turn recurring problems into lasting improvements. Staffing industry experience is welcome, but it is not required. You may have built your leadership experience in logistics, transportation, equipment rental, hospitality, field services, or another demanding service business. What matters is your ability to lead people, manage competing priorities, and follow through. We will teach you the staffing side of the business. What you’ll own Reporting to the leader who currently runs our business, you will directly manage approximately five to six internal team members and oversee temporary-employee issues as part of daily service delivery.

Your responsibilities will include: Customer delivery: Ensure staffing orders, employee assignments, and customer commitments are handled accurately and on time. Address shortages and service issues promptly, and keep customers informed. Team leadership: Set clear priorities, delegate responsibility, coach employees, and address performance concerns directly and consistently and immediately. Process improvement: Identify where work breaks down, strengthen procedures, train the team, and verify that improvements hold. Problem-solving and judgment: Make sound decisions under pressure, recognize issues that require escalation, and bring the right people in promptly. Employee experience: Help temporary employees understand expectations and resolve attendance, assignment, and workplace concerns professionally. Operational accountability: Track service and team performance, maintain accurate records, and ensure required onboarding and customer procedures are followed. Hands-on support: Step into frontline work when needed while developing a team that can perform without depending on you for every answer.

Customers receive dependable service. Employees know what is expected of them. Problems are followed through to resolution. Processes become clearer and more consistent. Our existing leadership gains capacity because you are taking genuine ownership of daily operations.
What you bring
At least three years of experience directly supervising employees in a service or operational environment.
Specific examples of improving team performance, developing employees, and holding people accountable.
Experience managing urgent customer needs and competing demands without losing track of details.
Evidence that you have improved a process and helped a team consistently follow it.
Clear communication, sound judgment, and the willingness to take responsibility when something goes wrong.
Comfort using business software, tracking performance, and learning new systems.
We value demonstrated leadership and results. A college degree is not required.
The environment
We are a small team operating at a fast pace. Our business opens at 4:30 a.m., and this role requires early-morning availability. The specific work schedule and coverage expectations will be discussed during the interview process.
