Part-Time Faculty Aircraft Maintenance Technician SchoolThe University of Maine at Augusta invites applications for Part-Time Faculty at our Aircraft Maintenance Technician School (AMTS). The successful candidate will have experience with the subject matter in a wide range of aviation topics, including fixed-wing and rotorcraft. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to teaching and working with students one-on-one. The position will ideally be based at UMA's Brunswick Aviation Campus, Hangar 6, but we will also consider remote work candidates.
Qualifications Required:
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certification
- Aircraft Maintenance Experience
- Teaching Experience
Preferred: Bachelor's degreeFAA Aircraft Inspection Authorization Certificate
Higher Education experience with curriculum writing and teaching
Salary:
The salary range is per credit hour and commensurate with qualifications and experience: Service Units0-5 6-12 3-19 20+Lecturer I* $1211 $1233 $1250 $1283 Lecturer II $1443 $1465 $1486 $1521 Lecturer III* $1580 $1601 $1623 $1657* 0-10 semesters of previous college teaching 11-19 semesters of previous college teaching* 20 + semesters of previous college teaching Applicants must be authorized to work in and reside in the United States.
