Purchasing Manager

What You'll Do: Source, evaluate, and negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with domestic and international suppliers Develop forecasting models using historical sales and inventory data Manage vendor relationships and monitor supplier performance related to quality, delivery, and service Oversee international purchasing, freight coordination, customs documentation, and import logistics Issue and manage purchase orders to ensure timely product availability Monitor inventory levels and partner with sales and operations teams to maintain optimal stock levels Analyze purchasing data and identify cost-saving opportunities Resolve supplier issues involving shortages, quality concerns, and delivery delays Maintain accurate purchasing records and vendor information within the ERP system Prepare forecasts, purchasing reports, and budget recommendations Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and ethical sourcing practices Mentor purchasing staff and support departmental growth and process improvements Qualifications 5+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience 2+ years of management or supervisory experience preferred Strong negotiation and vendor management skills Experience working within ERP systems (Net Suite experience is a plus)Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
