Senior Software Engineer

The role: This is an ownership role, not a maintenance one. You'll build and ship cross-platform mobile apps for iOS and Android, taking features from idea through App Store and Play Store release. You'll work directly with product and design, prototype quickly, and help shape the mobile architecture, navigation, state management and engineering standards as the team scales. The stack is React Native with Expo and TypeScript. What you'll bring 6+ years in mobile software development, with deep experience building React Native applications for iOS and Android. Strong TypeScript. Solid grasp of mobile architecture, navigation, animations and state management. Enough native experience to handle whatever the framework doesn't. Experience with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL. A track record shipping consumer mobile apps in a fast paced startup or small team environment, with the data driven mindset to ship, measure and iterate.
