Key Qualifications & Experience:
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Active PTA licensure in Pennsylvania
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting or with the pediatric population is highly preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for engaging with educators, students, and families
  • Ability to document services and progress efficiently
Core Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized therapy plans for students, focusing on improving mobility, strength, and classroom participation
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups to deliver therapy and monitor progress
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
  • Maintain consistent documentation and contribute to IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings as requested
  • Foster a nurturing, safe therapeutic environment that encourages student growth and confidence
