Drivers enjoy home every day on local routes, a rate of pay up to $34+/hour, and a steady schedule: Monday–Friday (occasional Saturdays), 42–45 hours per week. What Your Day Looks Like:
- Drive a Class B truck on residential and/or commercial routes in the Lansing area
- Use the truck's lift controls to empty carts and containers
- Hop out when needed to load bags, tubs or bulky items by hand
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Track your route on an in-cab tablet and stay in touch with dispatch
- Haul loads to the landfill, transfer station or recycling center
- Be the friendly face of Granger for the customers on your route
- What You NeedValid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement
- Safe driving record
- High school diploma or GEDComfort with physical, outdoor work in every Michigan season, including regularly lifting up to 50 lbs, bending and climbing in and out of the cab
- Ability to pass a DOT physical plus pre-employment and random drug screens (including marijuana)
- One or more years of driving experience is a plus, but not required
- Work Schedule
- Start time: 2:30 a.m. – 6:30 a.m., depending on route Monday – Friday (occasional Saturdays) 42–45 hours per week
