'Emergency Medicine Physician
Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to provide coverage at a 13-bed acute care hospital. The facility offers a mix of day and optional night shifts, caring for patients in a community emergency department without inpatient obstetrics or operative services.
Compensation
Hourly: $250/hrSchedule
Start Date: July 27, 2026
Contract Length: 13 weeks1012 shifts per month
Day shifts with optional night shifts1012 hour shifts Optional on-call coverage Practice Setting Emergency Department Acute Care Hospital13 inpatient beds No inpatient obstetrics No operative services
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat emergency department patients
- Manage a wide range of acute medical conditions
- Stabilize and transfer patients as appropriate
- Collaborate with hospital staff to provide emergency careEMRMeditechRequirementsBoard Certified in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
- Completion of an ABMS-recognized residency in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
- Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license recognized by the Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB)BLS certificationACLS certificationPALS certificationATLS certification
- Emergency Department experience or formal emergency medicine training
