Facility: Opelousas General Health System
Location: Opelousas, LA 70570
Contract Length: 8 Weeks
Shift: Nights (3x12)
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and interpret maternal and fetal status, including electronic fetal monitoring, escalating concerns promptly
- Support patients through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery
- Administer medications and manage IV therapy, including oxytocin titration as ordered and per facility protocol
- Provide immediate newborn care and support neonatal resuscitation per NRP guidelines
Travel Labor and Delivery Requirements:2+ years of recent Labor and Delivery experience.
Must hold all required certifications and licenses as mandated by Louisiana and national regulatory bodies.
