Fitter/Welder

Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work instructions Fit, align, and assemble structural metal components Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding as required Measure, cut, and prepare materials for fabrication Operate welding machines, grinders, drills, and other fabrication tools Inspect welds and assemblies for quality, fit, and accuracy Perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshoot issues Maintain a safe and organized work area Follow safety procedures and meet production schedules

Qualifications: Previous experience as a fitter, welder, fabricator, or similar role Experience with MIG, TIG, or stick welding Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings Ability to use basic measuring tools Knowledge of metal fabrication and welding processes Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and commitment to workplace safety
