Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Hospital: Menorah Medical Center Location: Overland Park, KS Address: 5721 W 119th Street Unit Name: ICU Building: B – Main Hospital Cost Center: 65023 General Information Unit Specifics: · Number of Beds : 16 · Patient Ratios : 1:1 (critically ill), 1:2 · Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Call for 9 nurses and 1 PCT when full. 24/7 unencumbered experienced Charge Nurses. Unit Educator during weekdays. Clinical Support Coordinator on mid-shifts. Pharmacist on unit during dayshift. · Type of equipment : Ventilators, CRRT, Hemosphere, Impella, ICP monitors, Arterial/CVC lines · Documentation system: Meditech · Scheduling requirements: Self-scheduling.
Days: every 4th weekend, 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays per schedule. Nights: 4 weekend shifts per schedule (Fri, Sat, Sun night)
  • On Call Requirements: None
  • Floating policy: Float to Cardiac Care Unit only when overstaffed
  • Patient Experience requirements: AIDET, Nurse Leader to round on patient prior to DC Hospital Specifics-
