Machine Operator Our client is a machining manufacturer dealing with precision metal tubing. Machine Operator1st shift: M-F, 7am-3pm - $21.50/hour2nd shift: M-F, 3pm-11pm - $22.75/hour3rd shift: S-Th - $24/hour
Responsibilities:
- Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.)Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
- Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
- Performs visual inspection both unaided and using magnification devices
Performs various dimensional inspection using specific dies or gauges, or dimensional inspection systems and micrometers.
Test operation of machines periodically
Fix issues that might occur during the shift
Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
Maintain activity logs
Receive customer supplied and/or purchased materials, including proper labeling, handling and movement of materials and paperwork
Previous machine operation experience a plus! Must be detailed and punctual!
