CI Project Manager

Overview In this role, you lead continuous improvement initiatives within the Carlisle Operating System to drive measurable gains across value streams. You collaborate across functions, coach leaders and early-career CI professionals, and manage cross-functional projects with Lean and Six Sigma at the core. Your work accelerates safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people metrics while aligning with COS standards. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position with opportunities to shape operations beyond a single plant. Responsibilities Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and COS initiatives across manufacturing and business functions Drive measurable improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People metrics Lead Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), 5S, visual management, and standard work implementation Apply structured problem-solving to identify root causes and implement countermeasures Develop and execute strategic improvement roadmaps aligned with business objectives Monitor and report project performance, KPIs, savings, and operational results Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, workflows, and organizational effectiveness Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, milestones, and resource needs for cross-functional programs Manage project risks, barriers, action items, and stakeholder communication Ensure accurate project documentation and reporting; support prioritization of improvements Key requirements Lean and Six Sigma knowledge and methodologies (e.g., VSM, DMAIC, root cause analysis, 5S)Understanding of manufacturing or business operations and cross-functional interactions Experience with continuous improvement frameworks and KPIsExperience facilitating Kaizen events, process mapping, root cause analysis, and improvement initiatives Advanced project management skills (planning, execution, risk management, stakeholder coordination)Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for multi-variable challenges Effective coaching, facilitation, and leadership across organizational levels Strong verbal and written communication and influencing without authority Ability to influence across functions and levels Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Teams) and project management software Ability to translate operational data into actionable improvements Coaching and mentoring Cross-functional collaboration Communication and influence Lean Six Sigma Value Stream Mapping (VSM)
