Job Description:
Job Description Prestige Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to lead a team of Technicians in repairing and maintaining Class 8 trucks and heavy equipment for a 1st shift direct hire opportunity with outstanding benefits. Total compensation is based on experience and ranges from $75k/yr-$90k/yr.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform general repairs on all parts of Class 8 trucks and trailers
- Troubleshoot and repair the electrical systems, aftertreatment systems, and hydraulic systems
- Rebuild Cummins engines
- Lead and train technicians
- Welding and fabrication as needed.
- Make recommendations for process system improvements.
Qualifications:
- Must have leadership experience
- Must have experience with engine rebuilds
- Must have strong welding and fabrication skills.
