Instructional Designer

Overview: Southern California Edison (Client) is seeking a Senior Training Specialist / Instructional Designer to develop and manage impactful learning solutions across the organization. This role combines instructional design, technical training development, and LMS administration to support enterprise-wide initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: Design and develop complex training materials, including curricula, job aids, and assessments Partner with SMEs and stakeholders to define learning objectives and identify training gaps Maintain and improve existing training programs and learning assets Support training delivery, including Train-the-Trainer sessions Manage Success Factors LMS (course uploads, tracking, reporting, user support)Coordinate training schedules and track learner progress and outcomes Analyze program effectiveness and implement continuous improvements Collaborate across teams to support ERP/SAP and business transformation initiatives

Required Qualifications: 5 years in training, instructional design, or organizational readiness 2 years supporting or leading training programs or initiatives Experience with LMS administration (Success Factors preferred)Proficiency in Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign), and Microsoft 365 Knowledge of SAP/S4HANA or similar systems Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience Experience in technical or craft training (e.g., utilities, engineering)Understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design models (ADDIE, Kirkpatrick)Background in ERP implementations or enterprise training programs
