Early Childhood PM Floater

Position Summary: Our Early Childhood Program is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Afternoon Floater & Aftercare Teacher to join our team. This individual will provide classroom support throughout the afternoon, assist teachers as needed, help maintain a safe and engaging learning environment, and supervise children during our aftercare program. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with young children, is flexible, and thrives in a collaborative school environment.

Responsibilities: Float between infant, toddler, preschool, and pre-kindergarten classrooms as needed. Support lead teachers with daily classroom routines and transitions. Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play. Assist with snack time, classroom organization, and light cleaning throughout the day. Help children with toileting and handwashing as appropriate. Foster a warm, safe, and nurturing environment for all children. Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members. Assist with the supervision and activities of children during the aftercare program. Follow all school policies, health and safety regulations, and licensing requirements. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director or administration.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
