About the Role: CDP Fencing LLC is looking for a driven and knowledgeable Fence Sales Estimator to join our growing team in Columbia, SC. This is an exciting opportunity to combine your sales skills with hands-on industry expertise, helping residential and commercial customers find the perfect fencing solutions. If you love building relationships and closing deals, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-site measurements and assessments to prepare accurate fence installation estimates
  • Consult with residential and commercial clients to recommend fencing materials, styles, and solutions
  • Prepare and present detailed project proposals and quotes to prospective customers
  • Follow up on leads, inquiries, and estimates to drive sales conversions
  • Collaborate with installation crews to ensure project specifications and timelines are clearly communicated
  • Maintain and grow a pipeline of prospects through networking, referrals, and repeat business
  • Stay current on fencing products, materials, and industry pricing trends
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in fence sales, construction estimating, or a related trade industry preferred
  • Strong knowledge of fencing materials including wood, vinyl, chain-link, aluminum, and ornamental iron
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with a consultative sales approach
  • Ability to read property layouts and accurately measure job sites
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for on-site client visits
  • Proficiency with basic computer tools for preparing quotes and managing customer information
