What you’ll do: Lead, coach, and develop Manufacturing Engineers and technical staffBuild a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvementDesign, standardize, and optimize manufacturing processes for quality, efficiency, and costLead manufacturing engineering for new product launches and engineering changesOwn APQP deliverables, including PFMEA, control plans, and process flow diagramsSpecify, source, install, validate, and commission equipment, tooling, and automationAdvance automation, robotics, PLCs, and Industry 4.0 solutions in assemblyPartner with Product Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Maintenance on launches, reliability, and defect reductionTrack and improve OEE, cycle time, throughput, scrap, and related metricsSupport IATF 16949 / ISO compliance, audits, and corrective actionWhat you’ll bringBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field 8+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in automotive (Tier 1 preferred) Experience leading a team of engineersHands-on knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and control plansProficiency with CAD and manufacturing simulation toolsWorking knowledge of automation, robotics, PLCs, and Industry 4.0 technologies
