About the role
We are looking for an experienced3D artistwho can providefull-time support for approximately 2–3 months. This is a temporary project-based need rather than an ongoing position.
The primary need is for strongCinema 4D and Redshiftcapabilities, including 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, animation, rendering, and compositing. The artist should be able to jump into active projects quickly and work closely with our internal video, production, and creative teams.
A significant portion of the work may involvehigh-end product visualization, so experience creating photorealistic product imagery is particularly important. We would especially like to see experience working withglass, transparent or translucent materials, reflective surfaces, liquids, and products that incorporate glass components, such as bottles, vials, containers, or similar packaging.
The ideal artist should understand the technical and artistic requirements needed to make these materials look realistic, including:
AccurateRedshift materials and shadersfor glass, plastics, metals, liquids, and other product surfaces
Strong understanding ofrefraction, reflection, transparency, transmission, absorption, and index of refraction
Ability to create realistic glass thickness, edges, imperfections, and interaction between multiple transparent surfaces
High-levelstudio and product lighting, including controlling reflections and highlights to define transparent and reflective objects
Experience creating photorealistic materials, textures, labels, packaging, and surface finishes
Ability to balance physically accurate rendering with the creative requirements of commercial product imagery
Strong understanding of render optimization, sampling, noise reduction, and delivering clean, high-quality Redshift renders
Ability to create consistent imagery across bothhigh-resolution stills and animationThe work may include product visualization, photorealistic CGI, 3D animation, motion graphics, and other 3D-driven content for video and digital projects.
Ideally, the artist would bring:
Strong professional experience inCinema 4D
Advanced experience withRedshift
A portfolio demonstrating high-endproduct visualization and photorealistic rendering
Demonstrated experience renderingglass and other transparent or reflective materials
Strong 3D modeling, texturing, shading, lighting, and look-development skills
Strong animation and camera skills
Experience creating commercial-quality product imagery and animation
Experience with compositing and integrating 3D elements into live-action or motion graphics projects
After Effects experience for compositing and finishing is a strong plus
Ability to work across different brands, visual styles, and creative approaches
Ability to manage multiple projects and work within tight production timelines
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to take creative direction and turn around revisions quickly and accurately
Healthcare or pharmaceutical advertising experience is preferred, but not requiredThe artist would be expected to provideconsistent, full-time availability during the 2–3 month engagementand integrate with our existing production workflow during that period.
When reviewing potential candidates, we would especially like to seeportfolio examples of photorealistic product work involving glass, transparent packaging, bottles, vials, liquids, or similarly challenging materials.
