About the role

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for various tasks surrounding tactical management, process, finances, and resourcing for the agency, to ultimately service agency clients efficiently and with excellence
Responsibilities: Tactical Management• The SPM is responsible for all small to medium tactics pertaining to that brand with minimal oversight• Review Hotsheet document daily prior to Hotsheet meeting.• Run daily Hotsheet meetings if APM/PM is not available.• Lead the team by setting the deliverables for the day and documenting next steps accurately for the team• Keep project plans updated throughout the lifespan of a project• Take meticulous notes and disseminate to appropriate stakeholders which includes ensuring appropriate team members are clear on project roles, responsibilities and next steps when APM or PM are not available• Coordinate with cross-capability teams to ensure deliverables and deadlines are met• Manage routes, ensuring the correct people are on the routes and deadlines are met• Request spec sheets, pre-flight builds, distribution packages, final packaged• files, etc. from Production & Studio when APM/PM are not available• Act as the digital liaison between vendors, and clients• Create project plans based on approved scope and input into annual tactical Gantt and maintain throughout the year Process• Immerse yourself in agency “Ways of Working”. Understand processes inside and out and lead by example• Partner with Project Management leads to impact change and proactively define new processes and improvements at the brand-level• Regularly maintain process documentation and tirelessly adhere to established process but remain flexible when needed Finances• SPM is responsible for the financial health of their brand, partnering with the account team when needed with minimal oversight• Proactively provide mitigation strategies for projects that are over/under burning• Accountable for project job numbers to be opened and closed accurately• Monitor project burn, and request hours transfers per overburn and/or inappropriately billed hours• Track all OOP estimates, invoices, and burn for projects• Scope tactics stemming from Tactical Planning• Create estimate and provide assumptions for ad hoc projects based on project description from Account• Participate in monthly review of recon reports internally and with client• Create staff plans, establish costs for ad hoc projects as needed and write ad hoc SOWs as needed Resources• Be able to mitigate resourcing issues with lead creatives’ minimal oversite• Able to partner with creative leads to ensure appropriate resources are assigned to a given project• Oversee resource allocations at the brand level• Accountable for team resources and the accuracy of resource reporting
Other Skills: • Be proactive in your own training and development of advanced skill sets within the PM department• Reach out during down time, know your goals, and work with your AD on the path to get there• Foster and promote career trajectory for direct reports• Understand how brand-level initiatives affect client and agency level finances• Be prepared to present major initiatives to client and senior leadership• Don't be afraid to raise your hand to participate in agency initiatives• Be a beacon of light for your team• Always maintain your composure by staying calm cool and collected• Be solution oriented
Experience: 2-5 years
Education: • College Degree (preferably in Advertising, Marketing, or Communications
