Senior Estimator

Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end estimating process for multifamily projects: conceptual, schematic, and final GMP/bid proposals Develop accurate quantity takeoffs using digital tools (Bluebeam, Plan Swift, OST, etc.)Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements to develop complete cost estimates Solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids, ensuring full scope coverage and accurate pricing Participate in design review meetings, providing real-time value engineering and constructability input Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and executives to align preconstruction with execution strategy Track and update historical cost data, vendor pricing, and market conditions to maintain estimate accuracy Prepare and present estimates to executive leadership and ownership groups Mentor junior estimators and collaborate with the precon team to uphold quality and consistency

Qualifications: 812 years of construction estimating experience, including significant multifamily project work (podium, garden-style, mid-rise, or wrap)Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred Strong understanding of project delivery methods (Design-Build, CM-at-Risk, Lump Sum)Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar construction software Demonstrated ability to develop conceptual budgets from limited design documentation Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills Local subcontractor market knowledge (Southwest Florida) a strong plus
