About the role
Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Requirement: This is a med/surg unit. Will not accept OR candidates. Must have acute care surgical floor experience. ENT and/or Transplant Experience Preferred Required: RNs must have one year of inpatient experience minimum in the related department with the trauma level shown below Required: One year of travel experience is preferred but will consider six months’ travel Required: All Candidates are expected to Float as needed.

The role involves delivering competent patient care, administering prescribed medications, monitoring physiological data, assisting physicians in examinations and procedures, and interacting with patients and families to share care plans and hospital procedures.
Required Qualifications:
1 year of experience. Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures. Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors. Basic computer skills.

Required Education:
Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program.
