Role Description:
This is a part-time remote role for a Payroll Clerk at Momentum Employer Group. The Payroll Clerk will process payroll for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of wage calculations, deductions, and tax withholdings. This role includes maintaining payroll records, updating employee information, and addressing payroll-related inquiries in a professional and efficient manner. The Payroll Clerk will collaborate with HR and accounting team members to ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations, as well as assist with payroll reporting and reconciliations.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess skills in Payroll Services and Payroll Administration for processing and maintaining payroll data. Candidates should possess skills in Payroll Management and Payroll Taxes to ensure compliance and accurate tax withholdings. Candidates should possess skills in Accounting to support reconciliation, reporting, and financial accuracy. Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills. Proficiency with payroll software and spreadsheet tools. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity. Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Prior experience in payroll or HR support is preferred; relevant coursework or certification in payroll or accounting is an advantage.
