Assistant Auto Glass Service Center Manager

Safelite Group Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily operations at our auto glass service center. You’ll help lead a team focused on safety, quality, and exceptional customer care. Responsibilities include assisting with scheduling and workflow, coaching technicians and customer service staff, monitoring inventory and shop standards, and ensuring accurate billing and cash handling. You’ll help resolve customer issues, reinforce safety and training standards, and support performance goals while modeling Safelite’s people-first culture and providing an outstanding service experience. Assist the Store Manager in daily store and service center operations Lead, coach, and support technicians and customer service associates Coordinate schedules, workflow, and staffing to meet demand Maintain inventory accuracy and shop cleanliness and safety standards Support accurate billing, cash handling, and point-of-sale processes Help resolve customer issues and ensure a positive service experience Monitor performance metrics and support achievement of store goals Reinforce safety, quality, and training standards across the team Retail or service center management Team leadership Customer service Scheduling and labor planning Inventory control Cash handling and point-of-sale systems Basic automotive or technical service knowledge Safety and compliance procedures Performance tracking and reporting Conflict resolution Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Supervisory or leadership training Basic safety training (e.g., OSHA awareness) Customer service or retail management coursework
