What You'll Do: As a COTA, you'll work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide individualized treatment that helps patients improve their ability to safely and independently participate in everyday activities.
Responsibilities include: Providing skilled occupational therapy treatment in accordance with established plans of care Implementing individualized treatment programs focused on functional and measurable outcomes Helping patients improve activities of daily living, functional mobility, strength, cognition, safety, and independence Monitoring patient response to treatment and communicating progress with the supervising Occupational Therapist Collaborating with facility staff and interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes Maintaining timely and accurate documentation to support quality patient care and regulatory requirements
