Maintenance Technician 1st Shift Currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience working in an industrial environment, and the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Repair and replace components as needed
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime
- Complete maintenance documentation and work orders
- Assist with facility maintenance and improvement projects
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Previous industrial maintenance experience preferred
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and technical documents
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, or electrical systems is a plus
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
