Business Analyst (Oil & Gas system)

Requirements: Gathering & Documentation-Collaborate with business units to capture functional and technical requirements for application support and enhancements. Application Support & Incident Management-Provide Level 2/3 support for enterprise applications (e.g., Pipeline Scheduler, SCADA, OSI PI, ETRM (Rightangle) systems). Troubleshoot issues, analyze root causes, and ensure timely resolution. Process Optimization & Automation-Identify inefficiencies in IT and OT workflows; propose automation using tools like Power Automate, UiPath, and Azure Dev Ops. Stakeholder Communication-Act as a bridge between operations teams, developers, and vendors to ensure alignment on application changes and upgrades. Testing & Deployment-Prepare test cases, coordinate UAT, and support deployment activities for application releases. Compliance & Security-Ensure adherence to Oil & Gas industry standards, cybersecurity protocols, and regulatory requirements. Required Skills &

Competencies: Strong understanding of Oil & Gas operations and related IT/OT applications (SCADA, Pipeline Scheduler, Fuels Manager, GIS). Proficiency in ETRM platforms, and integration tools (Boomi, Power BI). Experience with incident management tools and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe). Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field. 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in Oil & Gas. Familiarity with Dev Ops practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).

Certifications: CBAP, ITIL, or Agile credentials.
