How you will strengthen our mission: Lead the growth and distribution strategy of Olist, transforming the business priorities of different BUs into scalable acquisition machines, focusing on new customer growth, quality of ICP, and capital efficiency. The role connects channels, pricing, data, and technology to decide where to grow, which customers to prioritize, how much to invest, and what new distribution levers need to be built. Your main responsibilities: Responsible for the acquisition and distribution strategy for the Olist ecosystem, working transversally with ERP, Shipping, Financial Services, Ecommerce, and new standalone offers. The scope includes the channels of Paid Media, CRM, Affiliates, Influencers, Partnerships, Events, and Product Growth, as well as the Growth Strategy & Data fronts and the AI POD, dedicated to building assets and AI projects applied to growth.
Responsibilities:
Growth strategy: build the market entry strategy for different BUs, products, segments, and new growth theses, defining channels, value proposition, journey, offer, and distribution model. Ensure an ecosystem view, with prioritization strategy of investment allocation and acquisition strategies aligned with the ICP.ICP and segmentation: lead studies to define and evolve the company's Ideal Customer Profile, understanding size, segment, operational complexity, pain points, and behavior to improve acquisition, communication, channel prioritization, and offer development. Capital allocation: be responsible for the allocation of acquisition investment between channels, products, and initiatives, using CAC, payback, LTV, customer quality, and incremental capacity as decision criteria. The role should continuously remove capital from less efficient fronts and finance new growth opportunities. New customer acquisition: respond for the strategy and performance of the acquisition funnel, from demand generation and Sign Ups to qualification, trial, conversion, and New Clients. Quality of acquisition: ensure that growth happens within the desired profile of the company, following ICP, Ex-MEI, size, plan, ARPU, and other signals of quality of entry. Acquisition economics: manage CAC, Time to Payback, ARPU of entry, channel mix, and return on investment, balancing volume growth with economic sustainability. Pricing and promotional strategy: define, together with Product and BUs, pricing strategies for acquisition, discounts, coupons, promotional periods, bundles, and incentives, evaluating their impacts on conversion, ARPU, CAC, and quality of cohorts. Channel strategy: define the role of each channel within the distribution strategy, its maturity, economics, target, operational model, and scalability. Development of new channels: identify, test, and scale new distribution sources, reducing dependence on traditional channels and creating new avenues of acquisition. Strategic partnerships: develop distribution models with integrated partners, platforms, B2B2B companies, and large institutional partners, including bundles, revenue share, subsidies, and joint acquisition programs. Affiliates and creators: develop strategies for affiliates, influencers, implementers, accountants, and other distribution agents, including incentive design, proprietary programs, and remuneration models. Product Growth and PLG: work with Product teams to create loops, hooks, and experiences that turn the product itself into a channel of acquisition, referral, activation, or cross-sell. Growth AI: lead the construction of proprietary distribution assets using AI, including acquisition agents, channel automation, demand generation and qualification, and tools that reduce dependence on media and manual operation. Digital acquisition experience: lead the optimization of websites, landing pages, forms, signup journeys, and other digital surfaces responsible for the entry of new customers. Lifecycle and acquisition CRM: structure rules, segmentations, and automations to increase activation and conversion along the journey, including lead recovery and exploration of historical bases of prospects, churns, and customers. Conversion optimization: identify funnel bottlenecks and structure conversion improvement experiments, connecting communication, product, sales assisted conversion, onboarding, and pricing. Acquisition and Sales: work with commercial teams to define qualification criteria, coverage, lead scoring, routing, and assisted strategies for segments where human interaction generates incremental return. Analytics and Growth Intelligence: ensure a data layer capable of explaining performance by channel, campaign, cohort, ICP, product, and stage of the funnel, creating capacity for diagnosis, forecast, and decision-making. Forecast and planning: build acquisition forecasts, budget, and channel capacity, identifying gaps in advance for goals of Sign Ups, New Clients, NNA, and economics. Market intelligence: monitor competitive movements, market changes, customer behavior, and new distribution models that may alter performance or create new opportunities.
What we are looking for:
Solid experience in Growth, acquisition, and distribution, with responsibility for growth and investment efficiency. Strong mastery of unit economics, including CAC, payback, LTV, ARPU, and capital allocation. Analytical capacity to transform data, funnel, and customer behavior into business decisions. Experience in building and scaling channels and new growth levers, including partnerships, PLG, and AI.An end-to-end view of Growth, connecting ICP, pricing, channels, journey, conversion, and economics. Strategic leadership and capacity for cross-functional action, influencing different BUs and areas of the company.
