Accounting Manager - Real Estate

What we’re looking for: Strong accounting experience with a background in real estate Prior experience at the Accounting Manager level or a strong Senior Accountant ready to step up Property-level accounting knowledge and the ability to understand the underlying activity behind a real estate balance sheet Experience reviewing financial statements, reconciliations, journal entries and month-end close Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills Ability to review and develop the work of others while remaining hands-onREIT experience is a significant plus Yardi or similar real estate accounting system experience is a plusCPA and/or public accounting experience welcomed but not required This group is looking for someone smart, motivated, resourceful and proactive — someone who can take direction but also think independently and solve problems rather than simply follow a checklist.
