What You’ll Do: Follow the established Pella Trade Sales Process. Prospect for new business and growing an assigned customer base. Develop and maintain lasting relationships with builders, contractors, and other trade customers. Meet with customers in the field and at Pella showroom locations. Read blueprints, complete takeoffs, and convert project specifications into accurate quotes. Recommend and present window and door solutions based on each customer’s needs. Clearly communicate proposals, pricing, product details, and project expectations. Achieve established sales, revenue, and closing-ratio goals. Partner with internal teams to initiate service requests and maintain the company’s desired service standards. Manage customers’ need dates to support accurate production, shop-time, and delivery forecasting. Help Pella TN achieve its customer satisfaction goals. Consistently strive to create a “Very Satisfied” customer experience.

What You’ll Bring: Three or more years of outside or business-to-business sales experience. A demonstrated ability to prospect, develop new business, and build lasting customer relationships. A self-motivated and goal-oriented approach with a strong desire to succeed. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills Strong organizational skills and a commitment to following established processes. Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel; Salesforce experience is preferred. Ability to confidently learn and explain technical product information. Work Requirements: Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments. Ability to visit active and unfinished jobsites and walk across varying terrain. Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to occasionally lift and handle product samples or small windows, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to use laptops and mobile devices throughout the workday.
