About the role

Own commercial pricing structures, rate updates, approval practices, and change controls. Lead a team of estimators and establish expectations for speed, accuracy, workload management, and development. Create estimating standards for labor, equipment, travel, freight, consumables, execution conditions, and commercial risk. Review estimate results against actual project costs and refine standards to improve future quoting accuracy. Support major customer pursuits, negotiations, and contract pricing schedules. Partner with finance and accounting on labor burden, overhead allocation, equipment costs, and margin analysis. Lead improvements to quoting, estimating, CRM, reporting, and quote to order processes. Present pricing recommendations, results, and risks to executive leadership.
Requirements: Ten or more years of progressive pricing, estimating, or commercial operations experience. Three or more years leading a pricing or estimating team. Experience in industrial field services, energy services, pipeline services, equipment rental, or specialty contracting. Experience owning a rate book, price list, or governed estimating standards. Experience leading a pricing, estimating, or quoting system implementation or improvement initiative. Strong understanding of crew based labor, equipment costs, mobilization, travel costs, asset utilization, and project margin. Advanced Excel skills and experience using structured data, CRM reporting, SQL, or business intelligence tools. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, finance, construction management, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
