About the Role:
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Strategy & Innovation to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will be part of a small, dedicated group that works closely with the Executive Team to identify, design, and implement strategic initiatives that drive the company's mission. This role is pivotal in leading and facilitating cross-agency discussions, collaborating with various departments, and supporting the execution of strategic initiatives. The VP will be responsible for moving projects from conception to implementation, requiring a blend of research, stakeholder engagement, design, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving. Strong facilitation, communication, and project management skills are essential, as is the ability to build relationships and work effectively across teams. Applicants for the Vice President position should have a Master's degree in a relevant field, with a Bachelor's degree and equivalent experience also being considered. A minimum of 5 years' experience in community organizing, organizational development, management consulting, or a related field is required, with a preference for those with a background in economic development, community development, finance, or public policy. The role demands a candidate who is curious, creative, and comfortable with ambiguity, capable of both big-picture thinking and attention to detail. The VP will be expected to have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong project management abilities, and a commitment to the company's core values of collaboration, integrity, inclusion, and innovation.
